| Products certified as organic under Regulation (EU) [[https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX%3A02018R0848-20250325|2018/848]] are entitled to use the EU organic logo (the green leaf logo) and must bear the code number of their control body. The use of the term "organic" on the label is reserved for products that have undergone certification and are in compliance with the Regulation.
